have you ever walked in a forest in the dark? then you know how the mind can fill in the gaps and recompose the path and objects out of bits and pieces that the eye of your conscious mind is perceiving. all the mind needs is a little push – and it momentarily makes sense out of the alien world.
I’m fascinated by our mind's ability to reconstruct, or recompose messy, unclear or abstract input into something recognizable and familiar. so, it's not me, it's your mind that is the recomposer. your inner force of clarity that guides you through the dark path of the unknown into the comfort of recognition. until it encounters something strange again and recognizes something new. and so the cycle continues.
I am the kind of recomposer who lives in tensions between flow and constraint. the constraint seizes the flow right before it kills itself. it’s the constraint that keeps the flow alive and going. and so the cycle continues.
